Where Passion for Rehabilitation Meets Experience

The journey of Excellence Physio & Rehab Centre started with the vision of three dedicated and experienced senior physiotherapists – Jennifer Ee, Lizabeth, and Joanna Tay. Since 2007, they had been providing exceptional care to both outpatients and inpatients referred to them in a private medical hospital in Miri, Sarawak. Their wealth of experience spans across various domains such as musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric patients.

However, they soon realized that the rehabilitation services offered in Miri could be expanded and enhanced to benefit the community even further. Driven by their passion for physiotherapy and rehabilitation, they took a leap of faith in 2019 by establishing Excellence Physio & Rehab Centre. The goal was to create an exceptional care team with a core focus on physiotherapy while also integrating a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

Today, Excellence Physio & Rehab Centre offers a more holistic approach to care and has grown into a collaborative environment strengthened by a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Together with skilled Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Nutritionists our founders have ensured that Excellence Physio & Rehab Centre addresses patients’ unique needs and requirements.

By consistently seeking out new opportunities for growth, learning, and networking, the team at Excellence Physio & Rehab Centre has thrived. Our collaborations with renowned medical brands in rehab have further enriched the lives of our patients, and we look forward to continuing our mission of providing outstanding care to the community in Miri, Sarawak.

Brejyl is our house-call physiotherapist provide housecall services for stroke, geriatric and palliative care. Housecall service is highly tailored to individualized because it uses tools are available in patients home.

Yati as everyone call her is a dedicated teammates that oversee the pediatric rehab in our centre. She is our incharge of the early intervention program for children with special needs.

Bibi roles provides and echo and intensive intervention for children under the care of the occupational therapy. She focus on the activity of daily living with children.

With her background in education, Azza is the gem in our team. She is able to bridge the gap between therapy session and educational session which is much needed when the aim of the rehab is to bring back our patient into the community.

Nutritionist

Siang Ing has vast experience in providing community advice on nutrition. She advocate her free time to update her chat group, social media with new food recipes using local produce. Her area of interest is managing chronic illness through nutrition.

Suong Yii is a Certified breastfeeding consultant for mothers and infants. In 2019, she is a certified infant massage instructor which allow her to practise worldwide. Her main interest is children nutrition. Deep down, she is concern with the rising case of obesity and stunting among children.
